I live and work in the San Francisco Bay Area. When I can, I escape to the edge of the Bay to photograph. In non-pandemic years, I also get to Vermont for a few weeks.

The pandemic taught me that my path to mental health is to follow my camera to beautiful places and things. When I have spent too many hours on zoom or in meetings, I find that shorebirds and Bay landscapes literally change my focal length and perspective.

In a slow-witted, Tao of Pooh sort of way, I’m beginning to realize that photography is a spiritual practice for me. Just seeing, hearing, feeling the world around me is a voyage of discovery. I’m delighted to share photos of some beautiful things I’m finding along the way.
